Snuggly in-home Newborn Photoshoot in Wantage, Oxfordshire - Vickie, Jhon, Carlina & Amaia

When Vickie asked if I’d come and do her newborn photoshoot at home I was so excited. We’d captured her outdoor maternity photos a few months earlier, but with baby Amaia making her arrival just before Christmas, we decided to wrap everyone up warm, crank the heating up, and get snuggly inside for this winter newborn session.

I find people often worry about newborn photography with siblings involved, but there’s really no reason to be! For this session, big sister Carlina would go back and forth between joining us for a few photos, playing with her toys next to us or even grabbing a snack! I always want our sessions to feel pressure free for both you and your little ones and give them the space to join us when they are ready. This also gave us the opportunity to capture some beautiful moments of just Vickie and Jhon doting on their littlest addition to the family.

All of this made for a wonderful, relaxed, natural newborn photoshoot which left me feeling as warm and snuggly as baby Amaia.
