Chloe.
LOVER OF WILDFLOWERS, THE DEEP GREENS OF THE FOREST AND THAT SERENELY QUIET MOMENT IN THE MORNING BEFORE ANYONE ELSE IS AWAKE.
Nostalgia is the ruler of my heart
Growing up I was always the one clinging to family traditions, while my older brothers quite reasonably grew out of them. Christmases felt like fairytales and family gatherings were full of laughter and joy. Nostalgia has forever been the ruler of my heart and losing my mum only cemented that feeling further.
When I met James it felt like I’d known him my entire life. Our love grew with an intensity that caught us both off guard and gave us a feeling of comfort that we had finally found each other. That we were always meant to.
Then came her. Luna. It was like everything coming full circle and the call I had always felt towards motherhood pulled me further, until one day, I picked up a camera.
Luna has never met her Grandma. But she knows her. She knows her through the cheeky smiles aimed at my dad behind the lens. The tight squeezes for me and my brothers. Her hands placed delicately over her growing bump. This is why I do what I do. Not just for you, but for the generations after.
MY INSPIRATION
I draw my inspiration from film and my own immersive motherhood experience. Looking for those beautiful moments of simplicity that build the narrative of your love. Those blissfully ordinary touches and looks that I see in my own daily life. I long to create emotive images of your authentic connections that look like stills pulled from the scenes of your love story.
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
My dad always had a camera or camcorder in hand and I am forever grateful that we have those memories forever engraved, with all of us in front of the lens. So I’m inviting you to get in the frame. Don’t let your own role in your children's lives go undocumented. Let them look back on these memoirs of unconditional love and know it was you at the forefront of it all.
You’ll find me in the fields, travel mug in hand and the loves of my life by my side.
I live for the slow days. rising early but not rushed. sipping coffee in my dressing gown while luna and james share toast and juice as the sun comes up. a walk through the meadows and forests, inevitably getting lost and taking the long route back. a trip to our favourite cafe for almond croissants and more coffee, then back to our home. our haven. maybe it’s not the most thrilling way to spend a day, but it’s everything i’ve dreamed of.
When I’m not immersed in our slow day ritual, you might find me at the gym, sat on a comfy sofa chatting with friends (over yet more coffee), or chasing the sunset with my camera in hand.
